The word prompt today is:

EMBRACE

1. Write in exactly 100 words, a story, poem, or creative non-fiction in any genre, choosing ONE theme and using the prompt word or its past tense only once. The 100-word count does not include the title. Please use WordCounter or your writing software to ensure your piece is exactly 100 words.

2. The theme word does not have to be included in your piece but should reflect it in some way.

She stood at the edge of the precipice, her heartbeat pounding in her ears.

The wind whipped through her hair, invigorating her spirit.

With a deep breath, she welcomed the rush of adrenaline surging through her veins.

Then, the world blurred as she leapt into the unknown, trusting her strength and resilience.

The exhilaration of the free-fall consumed her, awakening a dormant fire within.

As she soared through the air without a coherent thought, her brain registered breathe, bird, trees, ripcord.

With every twist and turn, she embraced the power within her, forging her own path of triumph and accomplishment.
