Roots dig deep in earth
Spring flowers bloom on the stem
Nature's cycle turns
Summer's heat beats down
Stem bends but flower still stands
Roots hold strong below
Autumn leaves fall fast
Flower's petals soon to go
Roots brace for winter
In the cold stillness
Roots wait hidden deep below
Spring's flower to grow
