For those approaching an age of forget, a few lines of magic may help. For others with acute syndromes of forgetting the name of a sister or brother we suggest try hard, and harder and again and try again. There is a little magic in us all.

Cognitive decline is an age syndrome. One may remember the name of their grade 2 teacher, but temporarily forget a next door neighbor's name.

Good writing Caro. And thank you ... Before I forget,

-Rand

I'm so glad you liked it, Rand! I don't remember the name of my grade 2 teacher, forget my neighbor’s daughter’s name, and many other things daily. I have lists and calendars to help me. I've tried getting my sister into that habit, but it hasn't worked.

Thanks for reply Caro. Just finished a family reunion. Forgot the names of almost all of the younger members for the first several fays. Went over faces and clothes worn, names still a problem. Too many. Eventually, one at a time, I got them straight. Still remember today. Great. A few have a related syndrome, depressive/ manic, new name for this escapes just now. Did not know was inheritable by grand-kids.
