I like this poem, and I like the idea of republishing things we've had in the drawer a long while. The deserve the fresh air, like putting clothes out on the line for an airing. Like you, my viewpoint today is different than it was when I wrote my little gems so long ago. I think I'll follow your lead, and soon. The message of poetry - and the challenge writing it, is not the verbosity of our prose, but the minimalist 'taking away all the not-necessary, leaving the skeleton of truth we are usually too busy reading the whole of something' that we miss the root of something.
