And if you’re not on or able to access the @StampsBot account, fear not! You may find an inspiring stamp or two by perusing the online “International Philately” (say that three times fast) exhibit from the National Postal Museum.
My inspiration was the Edgar A. Poe stamp from the U.S.
Lost within the darkest Corners of my mind, The spirit of Edgar Allan Poe Holds sway haunting my every thought. Like a raven's shadow, His words flutter through My mind’s labyrinthine streets, Whispering tales of sorrow, despair. His stories, Fragmented dreams, Unfold before my eyes, Each word a haunting melody. With each turn of phrase, He conjures images of blackened Hearts, twisted souls, painting A portrait in shades of anguish, melancholy. His pen, a quill dipped In the blood of the damned, Engraves lines of poetry that Pierces the very fabric of reality. I become entangled in the Web of his words, unable to Break free from the grip of His macabre enchantment.
