It’s another September. And as days get shorter, It’s more difficult To find time. Then college football begins; The teams and their records, The games and the bowls, The great comebacks And overtime wins, With young men Dreaming of glory. And for a few months You will be distracted and find Time a little slower, Dragging its feet, Each touchdown, Each point scored, A celebration of Another season, Another year.

September Song
Lovely reflection on the approaching autumn.
My wife's favorite season is fall, but she has mixed feelings because football turns me into a crazy person. 🤣
