A very sad tale but beautifully written. As someone who has been through this too many times, and will do so again and again, the doubt and anguish was perfectly portrayed
The perfect telling of one of the hardest things we will do in life. I have been there many times and will, no doubt, repeat the scenario. As painful as it might be, the joy of giving a loving home to an animal for the rest of their life far outweighs our grief experience.
